We’re almost at the end of June, so what better time to take stock of 2016 in film. And forgive us for saying so, but we believe this is a bumper year for movies. The Witch, Creed, The Hateful Eight, Room, Spotlight, The Big Short, Captain America: Civil War, Green Room, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Bone Tomahawk, When Marnie Was There. A good Top 10 of the year could be made from the first 6 months.
So, join Rob Daniel & Rob Wallis as the go boldly through The Good, The Bad and The Middling of 2016 so far. And note this was recorded before the tragic death of Anton Yelchin, which is why our Green Room discussion refers to him in the present tense. RIP Anton.
More of Rob Wallis’ musing on movies can be found at his site Of All The Film Blogs. Check it out (after listening to the podcast)…
